Accessibility Statement
JG Dental wants every patient to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, screen magnification, or with limited colour vision. This page explains what we do, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the benchmark referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in settlements under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act for health care providers that receive federal financial assistance.
What is already in place
Every page has a “skip to main content” link, a single main landmark and a logical heading order. All images carry text alternatives. Every form field has a programmatic label, and errors are announced next to the field they belong to. The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always outlined. Page structure and business details are also published as machine-readable data.
Accessibility settings on this site
The round button in the lower left corner of every page opens a small panel with four switches: higher contrast, larger text, underlined links and reduced motion. Your choice is remembered in your browser and applies to every page you open afterwards.
These switches are an addition, not a substitute. If your operating system already asks for higher contrast or reduced motion, the site follows that setting without any action from you.
Known limitations
Maps are supplied by Google and we do not control their interface; the same addresses are always published as plain text next to every map. Some photographs were produced by our previous website vendor and their text alternatives are being reviewed and rewritten. We are working through both.
